Who is responsible

Your employer is the data fiduciary for employee data — it decides what is collected and why. Easy Connect processes that data on your employer's behalf, under a data processing agreement. Data is stored in India (Mumbai region).

For employees

  • Read and accept your company's privacy notice, in English or Hindi. A new version asks you again.
  • Under My privacy, request a copy of your data, a correction, deletion, name a nominee, or raise a grievance. Your company replies within its stated response time (30 days by default).
  • You can withdraw consent for selfies; your company's policy says what happens next (for example, another check-in mode).

Some records cannot be deleted while the law requires them — payroll, PF, ESI and TDS records are kept for 8 years. The reply tells you what was kept and why.

For HR

HR › Privacy (DPDP) holds the notice (edit and publish), consents, requests, the retention schedule, the breach register and your grievance officer's contact. Appoint your own grievance officer before go-live.

ECN's own privacy policy and grievance officer are on the privacy page.
