ZKTeco and eSSL (ADMS push)
- On the machine, open Comm. › Cloud Server Setting and enter the ECN People device server address (ask ECN support if you do not have it).
- Within a minute the machine appears in HR › Devices as pending.
- Approve it and pick its location. It then uploads everything it stored while it waited.
- Map each machine user ID to an employee if the codes differ.
Hikvision
Set the machine's HTTP listening (event push) URL to the ECN People device address ending in /devices/hikvision/SERIAL/events?key=DEVICE-KEY, using the machine's serial number and its device key. The device key comes from the machine's entry in HR › Devices.
Other machines
Machines that only talk to a PC on your network can use the ECN attendance bridge, a small program on that PC that forwards punches. Contact ECN support for it.
An unknown serial number is held, not accepted, until somebody approves it — a stranger's machine cannot post punches into your company.
Health
The devices screen shows each machine's last contact. A machine that goes quiet raises a warning so you notice before payroll.
